Marianne brings inspiration and implementation talents to her role managing complex workplace, science and research design projects. She is a seasoned architect and project manager with 30 years of experience who has been recognized locally and nationally for her project leadership skills. Committed to collaborative project delivery, Marianne is currently serving as the Vice President of the DBIA-Western Pacific Region Board of Directors. She is engaged in the local design community and is a former President of AIA San Francisco. "I feel incredibly fortunate to work in one of the most beautiful cities in the world, with an intelligent and driven team, for clients who lead their respective fields," she marvels. "Each day is energizing and thought-provoking. How much better could it get?" Marianne foresees an increased focus on protection of the planet’s resources. "Architects will no longer be fundamentally defined as building designers," she suggests. "Rather, many of us are devoted to becoming stewards of our natural resources in the built environment." Marianne earned degrees in both architecture and art history, and both fields continue to guide her sensibilities. Her idea of a perfect day: "Several hours savoring the delightful art in the Legion of Honor Museum," she responds, "and a walk along the Bay."
