Creativity seems to come naturally to Bob, raised in a family that builds custom furniture. “From a young age I always enjoyed the hands-on creative process of building new things from existing elements,” he remarks. As director of operations at our Washington, DC office, Bob oversees all operational and financial aspects of the office, providing leadership, management and vision. Bob thrives in the firm’s collaborative work style. “Most days don’t go as planned, which is usually a good thing,” he remarks. “It means that someone else influenced or challenged my work in a way I didn’t foresee. Our very collaborative environment fosters consistent innovations and improvements to our work.” Bob also possesses a hidden talent as a very capable auto mechanic. “I perform virtually all the repairs on my family’s cars, no matter how complex,” he explains. “It’s a skill I learned from my father, who collects and restores historic vehicles.”
